How to play Platform Adventure

Try Platform Adventure at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Finish three stages, collecting at least five coins per stage. Look at what changes after your first action. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

A careful first round

Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Finish three stages, collecting at least five coins per stage. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Take a moment to understand the current position.

Step by step

1. Start and run.
2. Jump across gaps and onto platforms.
3. Avoid hazards and collect coins.
4. Reach the exit with the required coins.

Controls

Arrow keys/held movement and Jump. Start / pause and New round are available. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

A raised platform helps reach a higher coin. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Check the stated objective.

Watch out for this

A fall costs a life; only three lives are available. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
